Kinya Pride – Strength and Confidence Building

I’m Kinya Pride, a Marine Corps veteran with 10 years of service, a former middle school teacher, and a certified personal trainer at Self Made Training Facility in Dallas. I’m also the founder of Take Pride Fitness, a passion-driven platform where I help women rebuild their lives physically, mentally, and emotionally. My mission is to empower women to step into their strength and embrace their full potential, especially those starting fresh after a long relationship, divorce, or separation.

My journey has been far from linear, and it’s those twists and turns that allow me to truly connect with the women I work with. My time in the military taught me discipline, resilience, and the value of a strong foundation. As a middle school teacher, I developed patience, empathy, and the ability to meet people where they are. Now, as a personal trainer, I blend these experiences to create a holistic approach to fitness and personal growth.

For me, fitness is about so much more than physical strength. It’s a gateway to rebuilding confidence, self-belief, and emotional balance. I understand that starting over can feel overwhelming, which is why I focus on meeting my clients exactly where they are. Together, we work to develop not just physical capabilities but also mental resilience and strong character. I’m passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment where women feel empowered to take ownership of their lives.

At Take Pride Fitness, I strive to inspire transformation from the inside out. My goal is to guide women on their journey to rediscover themselves, build a solid foundation, and face life’s challenges with renewed strength and confidence. Helping others reclaim their power and create a life they’re proud of is what drives me every day.
